Unclad is the naked truth in fashion, a clothing brand committed to 100% transparency, sustainability, and ethical practices. They also seek to preach their eco-ethos to like-minded brands within the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle spaces. Unclad founder, Laura Longmore, penned a comprehensive book on how these brands can achieve those practices when approaching their marketing and operations.
Laura hired me to bring the text to life through design and editorial layout. You can view the full digital version here.

The first step I took after being approached by Laura was taking a deep dive into her existing branding. I wanted to stay true to those concepts: sharp, minimalist, feminine, and eco-friendly. In the next few days, I drew up some different concepts for several key pages of the book including the cover page, chapter pages, and text pages for her to choose from and help decide on a direction.
One of the biggest challenges in creating the ebook was accommodating the amount of text while maintaining breathability in the designs. The final book ended up being over 100 pages, but the space I incorporated within each page was beautifully executed, allowing room for written exercise and journaling notes, stunning imagery, and thought-provoking copy.
I also incorporated some important call-outs in the book, dubbed "Insider Tips", denoted by a pink sticky note with a shadow effect to highlight key pieces of information to pay attention to.
