Macrostax is one of the leading macro-counting apps that tells users what, when, and how much to eat. Since its launch in 2017, Macrostax has helped nearly 200,000 customers reach their goals. Before starting my freelance agency, I worked for Macrostax full-time and thoroughly enjoyed managing the brand, designing materials, marketing the company, and helping it become the power brand it is today. Below are highlights of the design work I created during my time there.

Any well-designed app will look good no matter what. But using unedited app screenshots in marketing materials can be confusing to potential customers that have never seen the app before. I wanted to pull out, magnify, and call attention to certain UI elements to help drive home specific features.
In 2019, Macrostax hired a third party agency to help with a rebrand. After the rebrand was finalized, I was responsible in properly executing the new brand identity across all our marketing materials: website, email, social, ads, PDFs, etc.
Part of the new branding involved assigning specific design styles to certain elements, such as the below box styles for images or recipes. To maintain consistency, I made sure to select imagery that fit our brand: females between the ages of 25 to 45, different ethnicities, healthy and fit, and using our brand colors of blue, green, yellow, and purple.
